Railroads in Pennsylvania

With the breakup of Conrail in June of 1999, the commonwealth's railroad system (fourth largest in the nation) has undergone major changes and suffered a painful period of transition. Professor Jeremy F. Plant of the School of Public Affairs at Penn State Harrisburg addresses remaining unanswered questions the railroad transition has brought about, using historical data and public policies.
