

The Pennsylvania State Data Center produces the County Data Book series on a biennial basis. A Data Book is available for each of Pennsylvania's 67 counties and contains the most comprehensive and recent data available. Data is primarily presented in table format for easy analysis; however, there are also reference and thematic maps where appropriate. Data is provided for state, county, and municipal levels on a wide variety of topics. The County Data Book series combines U.S. Census Bureau population counts and demographic characteristics with a variety of contributor data, compiled from local, state, federal, and other sources.
