The Pennsylvania State Data Center produces the County Data Book series. Each data book contains the most comprehensive and recent data available for the county. Data is primarily presented in table format for easy analysis; however, there are also reference and thematic maps where appropriate. Data is provided for state, county, and municipal levels on a wide variety of topics. The County Data Book series combines U.S. Census Bureau's population counts and socio-economic characteristics from the latest American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates with a variety of contributor data, compiled from local, state, federal, and other sources. A Data Book is available for each of Pennsylvania's 67 counties The 2016 edition of the County Data Book series are available for purchase.
