The Census 2010 population counts have been distributed - is your township ready to use the data?
The U.S. Census Bureau and the PA State Data Center, in partnership with the PA Department of Community and Economic Development and the PA Local Government Training Partnership, is presenting an online training series to cover key ways municipalities can make the most of their Census numbers, from planning for the future to challenging the Census Bureau's figures.
Your community's 2010 Census number will be used as the basis for the majority of funding you receive from both federal and state sources. This training program will provide the user with the necessary tools to challenge the outcome of the 2010 Decennial Census if they feel their count is in error. Specifically, this online training will show participants how to:
- Review your 2010 Decennial Census number
- Develop and submit a challenge
